HOW TO CONTACT US

Please carefully read the following choices, so you are sure your inquiry goes to the right place! Thanks.

The American Veterinary Medical Law Association (AVMLA) is a national association of attorneys, veterinarians, and other individuals and organizations with an interest in veterinary medical law and how it pertains to the veterinary profession and allied fields.

Please note: The AVMLA is not a referral service, nor can we offer you legal advice in any form. We are not able to help you find a veterinarian or to find an attorney. Please see your local phone book to find this information.

The AVMLA is not able to answer any specific legal questions you may have about legal action you are considering or are undertaking. For such questions, please contact your own attorney. If you have a grievance with a veterinarian, your state’s veterinary association will be able to help you. Most have a specific grievance procedure that you can follow. A list of state veterinary associations may be found on the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) web site http://www.avma.org/advocacy/state/default.asp

For general questions about veterinary medicine, or about your pet, visit the American Veterinary Medical Association http://www.avma.org or the NetVet http://www.netvet.wustl.edu/ web sites. If you have a specific question about your pet, please contact your local veterinarian.

For questions about veterinary schools or about becoming a veterinarian visit the AVMA web site at  http://www.avma.org

For information about submissions to the AVMLA Newsletter, or for reprint permission, contact our newsletter editor, Greg Dennis by e-mail at Leongatha@aol.com
